PromptPRM
Privacy Policy
PromptPRM is a personal contact relationship manager. This policy explains what device features the app uses, where your data is stored, and how it is (and isn't) shared.
1. Data we collect
PromptPRM only stores information you explicitly enter — contact names, roles, notes, phone numbers, and any other details you add. We collect no analytics, no crash reports, and no usage telemetry.
2. Device permissions
Used only when you tap "Scan business card" to photograph a card and extract contact details. The camera is never accessed in the background and images are processed on-device — they are not uploaded anywhere.
Used only when you tap to start a voice capture to add notes about a contact. Audio is transcribed on-device or via a secure API call and is not stored or logged beyond the resulting text you choose to save.
3. Where your data is stored
All contacts are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable Google Drive sync.
If you enable sync, PromptPRM writes a single backup file to
your own Google Drive. We request only the
drive.file scope, which limits access to files the app
created — we cannot see any other files in your Drive. Sync is
always user-initiated.
4. Data sharing
We never sell your data
Your contact data is never transmitted to any server we operate and is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The only external service involved is Google Drive (optional), and data goes directly from your device to Google's API — we have no access to it.
5. Advertising
PromptPRM contains no advertising of any kind. Your data is not used for ad targeting or profiling.
6. Data deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. If you enabled Google Drive sync, your backup file remains in your Drive until you delete it manually.
7. Children's privacy
PromptPRM is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
